1909-O $5 Indian NGC AU53 $11,500
One of our favorite dates. This is the only Indian gold piece struck at the New Orleans Mint, and 1909 also happens to be the last year of production for that mint. It has by far the lowest mintage of the series, at only 34,200 (compare this to the mintage of the highly touted 1929 at 662,000). NGC Price Guide is $12,500 and Greysheet CPG is $12,000.
