		1839 15 Piece Coronation Proof Set With Case $115,000 SOLD A superb matched proof set in the original leather case, the first such set we have handled and perhaps the most popular of all British coronation proof sets. The gold grades as follows. The Una and the Lion 5 pounds grades PF63 Ultra Cameo with deep black-and-white contrast and excellent eye appeal; the sovereign (plain edge, coin alignment) grades PF64 Cameo with honey-gold color; the half-sovereign (plain edge, coin alignment) grades PF64 Ultra Cameo with delicate original color. The silver is all beautifully toned in deep rainbow shades and grades as follows. The 'Young Head' crown grades PF65 Cameo and is extremely rare as such, far more elusive than a Gothic crown in gem proof; the halfcrown grades PF65; the shilling grades PF66 Cameo; the sixpence grades PF66; the 4d (currency issue, rather than Maundy) grades PF63, which seems very conservative; the Maundy set 1d-4d. all grade PF65.
